A rare baby "zonkey" has been born in a zoo in Mexico.
The animal, a cross between a donkey and a zebra, was born April 21 at Reynosa Zoo in northern Mexico, ABC News reports .
The calf, named Khumba, has a sweet little face and sassy striped legs.
According to ABC News, the baby’s mother, a zebra named Rayas, used to visit the baby’s father, a dwarf albino donkey named Ignacio, and nature took its course.
According to the zoo, Khumba is a rare case because zebra and donkey chromosomes aren’t compatible, the report says.
