A Texas police officer is being called a hero after he pulled a woman off of train tracks seconds before the train crossed the intersection, according to the Huffington Post.
Officer Ramon Morales was flagged down by a passerby who told him that the apparently suicidal woman was on the train tracks so he ran and pulled her off, according to the Richmond Police Department's Facebook page.
Dashcam video from Officer Morales' car shows him stopping at the intersection just after the warning lights went off and running to pull the sobbing woman from the tracks. He then prevented her from getting up to run back to the train.
Officer Morales declined to take credit for the heroic action but the police department still commended him for what he did.
The woman was taken to a hospital for evaluation after the incident.
