PD: Toddler brings heroin to daycare

PATERSON, NJ - A New Jersey man is facing charges after police say his two-year-old son was found carrying packets of heroin at a child care center.

According to officers, a teacher at Michael's Energy Factory in Paterson found 48 small envelopes of heroin in the boy's jacket Monday.

Police don't believe the child even knew the drugs were there.

The boy's father, 27-year-old Phillip Young, is now charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

His bail was set at 85,000 dollars.
