PHOENIX - Krispy Kreme announced Tuesday that its iced coffees soon line the shelves at more than 900 Walmart locations across the U.S.
Though it's known mostly for its donuts, the company's Original Glazed and Mocha iced coffee drinks hit Walmart on Feb. 10. The 9.5-ounce bottles will cost $1.98, according to a press release from Krispy Kreme.
Krispy Kreme has been around since 1937, when it began selling doughnuts and coffee in Winston-Salem, N.C. Its latest move into Walmart stores is a way to make sure all customers can afford its products, according to Senior Vice President Brad Wall.
"Making our premium quality coffee available to consumers through the convenience of ready-to-drink is part of our continuing efforts to build awareness and equity in our coffee program," Wall said in a press release.
