A machine that created quite the buzz when it started making individualized cups of coffee may now be making you lunch too.
How do you feel about a coffee machine brewing up a piping hot cup of chicken noodle soup?
Campbell Soup Co. announced Wednesday a partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc.--the makers of the Keurig--to bring snack-size soups to households across the country, according to a press release.
Users will be able to purchase broth K-cups, as well as packets of dried pasta, and together they'll make a hearty soup in minutes.
How does it work?
All you have to do is pour a packet of the pasta into a coffee mug, place the broth K-cup into the Keurig and brew away. In minutes, consumers will have soup.
The company said they will announce three different soup varieties sometime next year.
