Adopt a loveable dog today from HALO Animal Rescue, Petsmart Charities

Looking for a cuddly little star to bring home?

Rockette, a 2-year-old Chihuahua is looking for a home of her own right now at HALO Animal Rescue.

The no-kill shelter says this timid girl is quite the snuggle-bug and loves to be held once you get to know her.

She's a little intimidated by big dogs since she's only about 10 pounds, but does OK with them.

Anyone who is willing to be patient and love her and teach her what she needs to know would be a perfect fit.

HALO Animal Rescue also wanted to let pet owners know that taking good care of your pets also means that you should look out for them when you take them on trips.

Going to the vet or across the country?

You should invest in a pet restraining belt to avoid accidents and issues along the way.

Leigh Carter with HALO says there are many inexpensive and simple options that fit like any other dog harness, but buckles to a seat belt.

If you're interested in more information or want to adopt Rockette or another homeless pet, contact HALO Animal Rescue. You can reach them at 602-971-9222 or at 2500 S. 27th Avenue in Phoenix.
