BALTIMORE, MD - Police in Baltimore are outraged after a three-year-old girl was killed by a stray bullet.
Police say gunfire erupted near the girl's North Baltimore home.
A 21-year-old woman was also hit by gunfire and is in stable condition with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police say a car pulled up to a group of people standing at a street corner Friday evening.
The men inside opened fire.
"I don't have the words right now to tell you how upsetting, how outraged we are. The police commissioner has vowed that this will not be allowed, not be tolerated in this city," said Baltimore Deputy Police Commissioner Jerry Rodriguez.
In addition, a man checked himself into a hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police consider him a person of interest.
