A small clinic in Scottsdale announced a breakthrough in the advancement of Ketamine for the treatment of depression.
Depression Recover Centers (DRC) revealed their research Tuesday which is being used to help other Ketamine clinics across the country. The group sponsored a national meeting of Ketamine providers to discuss the findings.
The new research let’s providers know which patients benefit the most from the drug. Seventy percent have shown improvement.
DRC first opened their doors to the public last year. At the time, they were only treating suicidal or severe clinical depression. Now, they are treating newly diagnosed patients and teens.
The patient receives small doses of Ketamine intravenously.
