JOBS: 10 Valley companies hiring workers now

HireLive is hosting three Arizona career fairs in February -- two of which will take place in the Valley. A variety of sales, management, human resources and other positions are open for interview at the events. If you're interested, go to the Phoenix event on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix at 122 N 2nd St. On Wednesday, Feb. 10, there will be another fair between the same times at the Embassy Suites Hotel at 4400 S. Rural Rd. The events are free and participants are asked to dress professionally and bring 10-15 resumes.

Shake Shack is looking to hire people to fill various  team and management positions at two new locations opening this Spring in the Valley. Restaurant manager, shift manager and team manager positions are available for the new Scottsdale Fashion Square location, as well as the Phoenix Uptown Plaza location. Yum! Mad Greens in Mesa is looking for nearly three dozen employees at its brand new location at Dana Park. The restaurant is set to open in mid February and they need to fill a variety of jobs. Start your application process here.

If you've always dreamed of joining a law enforcement team, Phoenix Police is hoping you'll be interested in their Police Communications Operator position. The next test date for the communications gig is on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 9 a.m. If you want to apply for this job, this written test is the first step in the process. Tempe Police is also hiring dispatchers. This important position requires a computer-aided dispatch system, management of officers and staff, while also listening to police radios. Direct Energy is hosting a job fair in Tempoe on Wednesday, Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1401 S. 52nd St. Suite 115. Direct Energy provides energy services to about five million customers and the business is growing in Arizona. RSVP to the event here.
