10 Valley companies hiring workers now

Here's a reminder of a job fair geared toward military veterans and their spouses. It will be held Thursday, February 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. It is being produced by RecruitMilitary in cooperation with the American Legion. According to a news release there will be local, regional and national job opportunities, along with entrepreneurial and educational offerings.

Salt River Project emailed a press release to let us know they're hiring Contact Center Representatives. They say they're looking for people who are service- and achievement-oriented along with understanding what it means "to have smile in their voice." There are 36 positions available; 18 bilingual and 18 English-only. Training is provided and the pay is $16.33 per hour. Benefits are available after successful training and transition. Applications are now being accepted for training that begins in March. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Jobertising.com are partnering to bring The Phoenix Diversity Job Fair to Phoenix on Monday, February 3. It's being held at the Phoenix Airport Marriott located at 1101 N. 44th Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some of the companies expected to attend include Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, Department of Economic Security, USAA, Solar City, Dun & Bradstreet, Arch Vacations, Mobile Mini, Verizon and more. The Glendale Elementary School District has a few openings they're looking to fill that include school bus drivers, educational assistants, substitute school nurse and cleaner.
