Want to know how your kids are driving when you're not with them?

There's an app for that. It's called the Automatic App and Adapter.

Ken Colburn with Data Doctors says it can "basically monitor everything going on in your car."

The adapter costs $99 and easily plugs into your car.

The free phone apps allow everything from monitoring how the car is driven, to diagnosing engine problems to finding where you parked.

Now, if you decide to sell your car on Craigslist, what if there was a way to list a "fake" phone number?

The free "TextMe Up" app offers a temporary number you can use publicly to make and get calls and texts.

It shields your real number and forwards all calls.

The app and first number are free.

Multiple numbers will cost you.
