No wonder there are concerns about the apps new Snap Map feature. It allows exact locations to be seen by others.
The intent is to let friends know where you are.
But some are concerned that it could also be a danger to your teen — Snapchat's biggest group of users.
Data DoctorsKen Colburn says the app has to be enabled, it's not just automatic.
Three map settings allow all friends, select friends or "only me" called "ghost mode." And it takes affect anytime you open Snapchat.
For ultimate privacy protection, click on your phone's settings, go to Snapchat, click on location and click "never show."
