Easy ways to keep up with growing list of recalls

PHOENIX - Seems like there's a new recall everyday.

This week alone we've seen millions of vehicles and infant car seats added to a long list of products that have safety concerns.

It's a lot to keep up with. So how can you stay on top of possible dangerous items in your home?

You can start with Recalls.Gov .

This website bills itself as a "one stop shop for U.S. Government recalls."

It's got more than cars. You can find recalled foods, medicines, even boats through the site.

Want to check out your kids toys or furniture for safety concerns?

Safekids.Org keeps track of recalls on children's products.

The site is easy to navigate and separates them by date. It goes all the way back to 2008.

Did you miss an alert about your pet food? That info can be found here .

It's run by the American Veterinarian Medical Association.

It also lists recalled pet medicines and what to do next if you have the product.

Do your clothes meet the minimum federal flammability standards? Yes it's a thing. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has a website that lists items it says aren't hitting the mark.

It also shows recalls on electronics and other household products you use everyday.
