PHOENIX - As Apple gears up to release it's new iPhone 6 in September, Amazon is just getting started in the smartphone business with it's recently released Amazon Fire.
And as if shopping weren't easy enough, the new phone has somehow made it even simpler to part with your cash.
For the $200 to $650 price tag gets you a 3-D screen, some cool functions , and plenty of Amazon related features.
It is a smart phone, but is completely different from iPhone and Android products.
This phone comes with Kindle Apps, a built-in Amazon Shopping Cart, and another app called Firefly.
From books, to food, to art, Amazon claims the Firefly app can recognize nearly 70 million items.
Users take a picture with the phone's camera and can instantly be connected to the exact Amazon page where the item can be purchased.
Sounds cool, but some critics say the phone is almost completely based around heavy Amazon users.
