He's 23 years old.
He's accused of doing unlicensed work, leaving jobs unfinished and taking more than $300,000 from homeowners.
And Erick Morales had nothing to say as I tracked him down outside a Phoenix courthouse.
The Mesa homeowners say Morales would tell them he was going to get materials and needed more money.
But they say, nothing would be delivered.
And they say it went on for months.
Morales is charged with fraud and his trial is set for July.
Before hiring any contractor, make sure to check the Registrar of Contractor's website.
Anyone can give you a license number.
Make sure you check it out for legitimacy and complaints.
