Hundreds of customers are concerned their credit cards are being used fraudulently after Bashas', Food City, and AJ's Fine Food stores were hit with a cyber attack.
I'm getting dozens of emails from people concerned about fraud charges on their credit cards.
Bashas' says if you shopped at any of their Bashas', AJ's Fine Foods, or Food City stores since June of 2012, you could have an issue on your credit or debit card.
Well, the good news is you are not responsible for fraudulent charges if you notify the bank within 60 days of noticing and file the paperwork.
But that's with a credit card. If you used a debit card, it could be much harder because the money comes right out of your account.
Either way, if you shopped at any of the stores during the specified time, take action now.
Contact your bank and make sure they are your charges.
If there are charges you didn't make, put a stop on that card, and go to www.annualcreditreport.com .
You can get three free credit reports a year. That way, you can see if thieves started new accounts in your name.
