Man runs red light, injures 6 including 2 kids

An early morning crash near 67th and Olive avenues sent six people, including two children, to a hospital. 

According to the Glendale Police Department, the crash happened on May 14at the intersection around 1:30 a.m. An adult female was extricated out of a vehicle by fire crews. 

In court documents released today, ABC15 learn that the woman suffered a broken pelvis, a dislocated hip, a vertebrae fracture and broken ribs.

Police arrested 25-year-old Doran Chesley, a Phoenix resident, after Chesley was found to have ran a red light at the intersection, causing the crash with two vehicles that were driving northbound. Chesley was booked for aggravated assault and for driving under the influence. 

Chelsey reportedly admitted to drinking but denied running the red light to police. 

Glendale police say the injuries to everyone else involved in the collision were minor and not life-threatening.
