An El Mirage man accused of having sex with a minor was caught in Thatcher, Arizona on a bus bound for Texas.
El Mirage police report that on March 9, the mother of a young girl contacted them when she realized 32-year-old Kenneth Michael Davis had repeatedly had sex with her daughter.
Before contacting police, the mother reportedly recorded Davis admitting to these actions before throwing him out of the house.
Police say Davis exposed himself around the house while the mother was away was a "common occurrence." He also would allegedly entice the girl with video games to perform sex acts. This apparently happened over a seven month period.
Police say Davis spent a couple of nights on the street before getting paid and purchasing a bus ticket to Corpus Christi, Texas.
Authorities contacted police in Thatcher who stopped the bus and detained Davis. Police say Davis was using a different name and altered his appearance.
Davis is being held on a $100,000 cash bond on 13 sex-related offenses.
