An elderly man, who was upset with a car in front of him on the road, is accused of using his van to push the car into a busy intersection.
Phoenix police report that on May 17 a man, later identified as 79-year-old Marco Masini, was seen at the intersection of Coral Gables Drive and Thunderbird Road in his van.
Witnesses say Masini was honking his horn at the car in front of him and then used his van to push the vehicle into the intersection against the red light.
The victim told police that he felt the van push into his car and accelerate before he ended up in the intersection. Shortly after the light turned green and he was able to get away from the area, and from Masini.
Police located and arrested Masini near 1st Avenue and Union Hills Road.
He's been charged with endangerment.
