A Flagstaff woman is facing multiple charges after she was reportedly found unconscious and intoxicated inside a vehicle with her child in the back seat.

Phoenix police report that at about 11 a.m. on July 3 they responded to an area near 24th Street and McDowell Road.

Phoenix fire personnel had reportedly found a woman, later identified as 26-year-old Leah Sue Lynn Tsosie, passed out in a car with the engine running, the car in drive and her foot on the brake.

Firefighters reportedly told police that they removed a 5-year-old girl, who was unrestrained in the back seat of the vehicle.

Authorities twice used smelling salts to wake Tsosie.

Police say they found four empty beer bottles and a half-filled bottle, between Tsosie's legs.

Tsosie, who is from Flagstaff, had a blood-alcohol content greater than .20, police said.

She has been charged with aggravated and extreme DUI.
