A man wanted for fraud has been caught after allegedly committing fraud against seniors in Glendale.

Glendale Police report that four victims in the area of 67th Avenue and Greenway Road were ripped off by the same man, 61-year-old Abe Trigg Shepherd.

Police say all the victims hired Shepherd and 'Elite Home Services' to do remodeling on their mobile homes. In each case, Shepherd took the victim’s money without completing the work.

In one instance, police say, Shepherd left a gaping hole in the living room floor that went all the way to the ground. Investigators say Shepherd and 'Elite Home Services' are not licensed with the Arizona Registrar of contractors.

In total, the victims paid Shepherd over $17,500.

Police say Shepherd was already on probation for fraud and had three warrants for his arrest for contracting without a license in Mesa and Peoria.

Shepherd was arrested in Phoenix on September 28 for fraudulent schemes.
