Three men are accused of several armed robberies in west and north Phoenix.

Phoenix Police report that from June 9 until July 14, three men robbed 9 retail stores and restaurants

Take a look at how much was stolen from each location in the map below.

Police say they were armed with a handgun, BB gun, and a large knife as they terrorized employees to open cash drawers and give them the money inside. All together they were able to steal nearly $30,000 in cash.

Police report the robberies became increasingly violent with the suspects. At first, they just showed their weapons but later they began firing shots into the ceiling and floors. During one incident, an employee was shot in the head with a BB gun

Police were able to place a Silver Chrysler 300 at the scene of the robbery locations. On July 14 that car was spotted by patrol officers and the three suspects were detained.

One of the suspects allegedly admitted to police to the 13 armed robberies.

Police arrested 20-year-old Joshua Alexander Ramirez, 21-year-old Francisco Gomes and Juan Antonio Herrera, 22, on July 14 near 59 Avenues and Thomas Road.

They have all been charged with armed robbery.
