A Mesa man linked to 10 armed robberies of pharmacies in four valley cities has been arrested.

Phoenix police report that from March 29 until June 18 a man robbed ten Walgreens and CVS pharmacies located in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Avondale.

On March 29 police arrested 34-year-old Christopher Alan Roberson as he fled on a skateboard after robbing a Walgreens store near 19th and Southern Avenues. He remained in jail until May 9 when he pled guilty to a reduced charge. He failed to appear in court for his sentencing on June 7, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police say he began robbing stores after his release in May. In most of the cases, he reportedly took money from the cash register and placed the money in a cloth bag. He usually wore a "Taylor Made" golf cap and fled on a skateboard or a black Mini Cooper. In total, police say Roberson stole over $5,000.

Police located Roberson at the home of a former roommate near 24th Avenue and Roeser Road in Phoenix, where officers saw a black Mini Cooper leaving the home.

Roberson is being held without bond on multiple counts of armed robbery.
