A Goodyear CVS employee is accused of stealing diabetic test strips for the past seven months, costing the company more than $100,000.

Goodyear police report that on Tuesday they arrested 29-year-old Robert Brian Kemple for theft, fraudulent schemes, and trafficking in stolen property.

Police say loss prevention at CVS Pharmacy conducted an investigation and determined that over the past seven months Kemple was allegedly ordering diabetic test strips and then taking them from the store.

Kemple, who worked as a Pharmacy Technician and was a nine-year employee, reportedly admitted to police that he sold the test strips through two online companies at discounted prices.

CVS estimates their loss at over $100,000.

The Avondale resident was arrested without incident.
