A man who has spent time in prison on four different occasions is caught after allegedly committing two burglaries in Waddell.

Court records show that 54-year-old Robert Wade Stark was caught after being spotted committing a burglary in Waddell, according to the Scottsdale Police Department.

Scottsdale police said they saw Stark leaving a Waddell home in a green Ford Explorer near Perryville Road and Glendale Avenue on April 11.

Police were watching the vehicle because it had been linked to four home burglaries in Scottsdale.

Authorities said the home near Perryville Road and Glendale Avenue was ransacked, and two watches were found in the gravel driveway near the green Explorer. The owners later identified about $4,000 in stolen property from their home.

Stark was stopped and arrested near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road. Police say they found items from the Waddell home burglary in the Explorer. They also found a 50-inch flat screen television that was reported stolen from another home in Waddell the same morning.

Stark has two warrants for his arrest out of Tucson and was released from prison four times. His latest stint was in January of 2014, when he did time for kidnapping, armed robbery and burglary in Pima County.

In his latest arrest, he was charged with multiple counts of burglary and identity theft.
