An electrician working on a home in Sun City helped lead police to a burglar.

Court documents say on Jan. 24 an electrician who was working on the home was approached outside the house by 53-year-old Daniel Huset, who asked him for water. The repairman said he could not help Huset.

The electrician says he eventually saw Huset enter the home and assumed he was just getting a drink of water.

Later, while he was working in the attic, the electrician heard breaking glass and yelling coming from inside the home.

The electrician left the house and called the real estate agent, thinking she was the one making noise inside the home. The real estate agent said she had not been there and called police.

When officers arrived at the home, they found damage to the kitchen and living room and broken glass from the back door.

Huset was gone, but the electrician spotted him walking a few blocks away and contacted police.

Huset has been charged with trespassing and criminal damage.
