10 Questions for Valley radio personality Lady La

PHOENIX - It isn't always the big events that make us turn our head when we hear about politicians, celebrities and athletes.

Sometimes, we just want to know that when you boil it down, they're all ordinary people like us.

What's in their fridge? What are they reading? What do they do in their off time? ABC15.com asks the same 10 questions of a newsmaker. But don't jump to any conclusions; these aren't the typical interview questions.

They are not meant to be probing or controversial. Instead, they're fun questions that let you get to know the person in ways you probably don't already.

This week, we're getting to know Valley radio personality Lady La.

Weekday mornings from 6-10 a.m., Lady La entertains listeners on the morning drive on 101.5 JAMZ-FM  in Phoenix.

Lady La first hit the airwaves in 2005, hosting the morning show on Power 98.3. In addition to her radio career, she also works in the fashion industry as a model and co-founder of The Fresh Fiends blog, an on-line collective comprised of fashion, lifestyle, beauty tips and charity efforts.

An outspoken advocate for autistic kids, Lady La has raised thousands of dollars to bring awareness to this growing epidemic. The developmental disorder hits Lady La especially close, as her younger brother was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old.

Lady La was born in Tucson and later moved to the Phoenix area where she graduated at the top of her class. She later attended Arizona State University earning a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management.

Lady La is also a regular guest on ABC15 NOW!
