PHOENIX – Stressed about holiday spending?

Retail giant Walmart hopes to help.

The superstore announced Wednesday that it plans to begin its day-after-Thanksgiving deals early, and will kick things off Saturday, November 7.

From turkeys to televisions, customers will be able to take advantage of newly-announced savings on anything needed to celebrate the holiday season.

Starting Saturday, Walmart stores will begin their first week-long electronics savings event with special deals, including a new $298 HP notebook computer.

Other must-have electronics can be picked up at discount prices, like an Xbox 360 arcade console for $199. The store will even throw in a $100 Wal-Mart gift card good for future purchases.

Another deal to watch out for is the chain’s complete Thanksgiving meal for just $20.

The turkey dinner includes a 12-pound turkey, cans of vegetables and cranberry sauce, stuffing, potatoes and a pumpkin cake.

Walmart representatives say the company is dedicated to saving families money on both holiday traditions and gift items.

The store’s Thanksgiving meal deals will last through the holiday, but the electronics specials will only be available from November 7th through the 13th.

"Each holiday season we focus on delivering a better price on quality entertainment and electronics, and this season is no different," said Gary Severson, Walmart’s senior vice president of entertainment.
