CanOrAz - you trust the media to be a reliable source? How many times have all of us on here pointed out at one time or another, contradictions, faulty facts, and revised articles posted on here by ABC 15, not to mention other sources?

One more thing to everyone. We did not come on this sight looking for comfort. We came to this sight to find out what was going on with the situation-as we live out of state, and could not get hold of anyone down there. Unfortunately, in the process saw the comments below it. Believe it or not, I know my nephew was far from perfect, I'm not making excuses for him. But I do know a lil more about the situation therefor I feel that my points are valid. There is more to the story than the media knows. I have learned that I will NEVER judge a situation. Looking from the outside, not knowing any details. It's not right. Mesa tribune stole pictures from a sight we set up for grieving, along with posts of memories. I just don't get how any of that can be considered right. No matter what. So again, I understand that these comments are just people posting their points. I just want you to remember that a mother lost her only son, 2 sisters lost their only brother, and a dad who loved that kid so much lost his only boy. They don't want to be in the media, and are very hurt by all the things the media has said, and the things they have seen posted. Please remember that when you are posting your side of the argument. Don't make cruel statements like some of you have. What is the point? Argueing your point? I can respect that, but saying all the horrible things inbetween- I can't.They are grieving the way you would if it were your own child.

canoraz, you are right-I did say a pocket knife. But as in every investigation, things change. I live in a different state and get my news slower than my family in Az. As of right now megaxl is correct. So far they have not been able to produce a knife. Eye witness says there was no knife. I am by no means saying there was not one, but by no means saying there was one-considering that they have not produced one yet. I do although know he was shot once while standing (bullet in the wall) and once while suffering on the floor (bullet in the floor) . How do I know??? My family has been back to the house. I do not see any justice in shooting someone once they have already fallen.

CanOrAz- You have faulted family for being on here and sticking up for someone they believe in and love. (and you have assumed just because they are deffending this man-- they must be family and have an "emotional stake". ) You go ahead and wait for that report. But I am telling you I don't think the family is going to get on here and lie--where is that going to get them?!?! Its not going to bring him back! We just want the truth to come out.

CanOrAz - 11/10/2009 7:34 PM
megaxl, where in any of my posts have I 'faulted' family for this situation? If you look back on 'aunties' prior posts, you will see that she stated something like, "Did you know it was just a pocketknife?" as well as, "Maybe he should have been shot, but not killed". So, when someone writes in that Mesa PD could not produce a knife, I don't believe that the 'source' can be relied upon. And how the heck would I know that the guy posting that was 'family'? Like others, I want to know exactly what transpired and I'm waiting for the official investigation report...not someone's conjecture.

megaxl - 11/10/2009 1:11 PM
CanOrAz- All these people that you are faulting for being family... believe it or not-- may just have more inside information than you. Surprising?!?!

CanOrAz - 11/10/2009 2:05 AM
Hey Dutch...you know this information, how? Have the police notified you that there was no knife? Is their investigation complete?

Dutch - 11/9/2009 9:31 AM
But are you aware that Mesa PD cannot produce the knife he supposedly threatened them with ? Trigger happy mesa PD !!

AZMac - 11/9/2009 7:23 AM
It sounds like he brought a knife to a gun fight. It must have been a short arguement. I'll be careful to not point a sharp pencil at Mesa cops.

It doesn't matter to me anymore what any of you think. I know what I believe and what is true... and I cannot change your mind. One day the truth will come out, and when it does I hope you all hang your head in shame. Until then I am going to do my best to forgive this man that took someone so dear to me... just as I am going to do my best to forgive all of you. My sweet cousin is square with God. He has more than paid for anything wrong he may have done in this life. ~~My sweet misunderstood cousin I will forever love and miss you....
