PHOENIX -- Police say three people were killed Friday night when their vehicle was hit broadside by a pickup truck in Phoenix.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. on 19th Avenue, south of Dunlap Avenue.
According to Phoenix Police Officer Luis Samudio, a Toyota Camry and Hyundai 4-door sedan were traveling south on 19th Avenue when the driver of the Camry sideswiped the Hyundai.
The driver of the Toyota reportedly over-corrected and drove into the northbound lanes where it collided with the pickup truck.
Police said two people in the Toyota died at the scene and a third died at a local hospital. The driver of the Toyota reportedly suffered minor injuries.
The victims were identified as Alonso Medina, 19, Silvano Martinez-Gomez, 25, and Eder Rosas, 19 years old.
The driver of the pickup truck also suffered minor injuries, Samudio said, and the driver of the Hyundai was not injured.
Samudio said drug and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
