The Mad Dog Saloon in Mesa closed, but the building won't be empty. The Hub Grill and Bar is opening its second east Valley location Tues., Sept. 13 at Mad Dog's former location on S. Stapley Dr. near Baseline Rd. The saloon posted this message to its Facebook page:
We want to thank all of our loyal customers over the years for all of your support. The rumors are true and we are moving on and passing the torch to The Hub Grill and Bar! So here is a big CHEERS to you!
A spokesperson from The Hub Grill and Bar said the doors will open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. They are assuring their current patrons that they are not closing their doors at the S. Sossaman Rd. and E. Southern Ave. location.
