You know you love it. Delectable French toast topped with syrup and whipped cream and strawberries. Pancakes try, but just can't stack up to the sweet egg-soaked slices of heaven. Monday November 28 is National French Toast Day. Yelp helped us compile a list of the best places in the Valley to grab French Toast.

Vovomeena

There's good news and bad news. The good news is Vovomeena was ranked the number one breakfast spot according to Yelp reviews. The bad news is it is closed on Mondays so you won't be able to get French toast there on National French Toast Day. But hey, French toast tastes great the other 364 days of the year too. Vovomeena has an extensive menu with items like Tiramisu French Toast dipped in Kahlua batter with espresso mascarpone and homemade whipped cream. Don't forget your appetite!

Duza's Kitchen

Duza's Kitchen is a neighborhood restaurant tucked away in the Coronado district with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It is also closed on Mondays, but pick any other day to try this Valley favorite! "I love going out to breakfast, but if there is a line or it's super crowded, it kills the whole experience," Casey A. from Phoenix said. "Duza's is perfect." Duza's also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Original Breakfast House

They leave the coffee carafe on the table! Whats not to like? This little neighborhood gem made a big impression with Yelp reviewers. The restaurant boasts traditional breakfast fare with an original twist. OBH deep fries French toast and adds orange to it. If all that doesn't convince you to give it a try, maybe their philanthropic ways will. They served a free Thanksgiving dinner to those in need.

Fàme Caffe

Fàme Caffe, in central Phoenix, is known for serving organic, locally sourced foods. It's also known for its variety of cocktails. Yelpers seem to like the croque madame -- ham and cheese with a fried egg. "The food is fabulous and the fresh squeezed orange juice is to die for! The caramel latte with a dust of cinnamon on top is a must try," Alane R., from Phoenix, said. Fàme Caffe is also closed on Mondays.

Snooze an AM Eatery

With its retro decor, this is one funky breakfast joint. Snooze an AM Eatery is located in Town & Country. It has a breakfast bar, serving a wide assortment of adult drinks. You need to go early for two reasons. First, it's a popular breakfast spot so you'll want to beat the crowd. Second, the menu is extensive. You'll need some time to look it over.
