If you're a lover of gourmet food and great wine, you may want to check out Chandler's Culinary Festival this weekend.
The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 5 to 10 p.m. in downtown Chandler.
FARMERS CHEESE recipe from Superstition Farm
1 gallon of milk
1/4 cup vinegar or lemon juice
2 tbsp salt (to taste)
Stainless steel pots and utensils
Warm milk to approximately 170 degrees in a double boiler, stirring occasionally
Take milk off heat pour in vinegar, stir gently
Let sit for approximately 10 to 15 minutes
Line colander with cheese cloth, pour curds and whey into cheese cloth and drain to desired consistency
Salt if necessary

Tickets: Presale tickets are available online at tastechandler.com through October 5 and cost $35 each or $50 for two. Admission tickets at the door will be $35 per person. This is a 21 years of age and older event.
