RECIPE: Taste your way around Valley with Small Summer Bites

Designed to highlight the variety of great local restaurants in the Valley, the Small Bites of Summer dining card is like a DIY food festival.

However, instead of trying to sample all 30 restaurants in a single day, guests can make a leisurely visit to all participating restaurants anytime between June 1 and August 31, 2013. Upon arrival, cardholders simply present their Small Bites of Summer card to receive their complimentary small bite, no reservations required.

Here is one of the recipes from Monday's show:

Dragon Wraps

1/2 lb. of boneless chicken
1 Tablespoon green curry
1 Tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
1-tablespoon sugar
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 sprig fresh basil
½ cup chopped peanuts
½ cup of bean sprouts
1 sprig cilantro


1. Grind chicken in the food processor until minced.
2. Sauté with garlic, curry, fish sauce, and sugar until cooked.
3. Toss with basil, tomato, and sprouts.
4. Serve in iceberg lettuce cups.
5. Top with peanuts and cilantro and Enjoy!
