RECIPES: Make holiday dishes from Fort McDowell

Need some ideas for holiday dishes? Chef Dinh Hung Van of Fort McDowell Casino showed us some dishes you can make at home.

Here are some recipes from today's show:

Grilled Pork Chop with Apples, Peaches, Walnuts and Cranberries
Pork:
10 pork chops (6 oz.)
1 t. salt
½ C. light brown sugar
½ C. soy sauce
1 C. orange juice
2 T. honey
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
6 whole cloves
1 T. black pepper
1 T. olive oil

Apples, Peaches, Walnuts & Cranberries:
1/2 C. butter
2 T. sugar
1 t. lemon juice
½ t. ground cinnamon
1 T. water
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into eights (each) lightly grilled
2 Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into eights (each) lightly grilled
2 T. brandy
Salt to taste
½ C. walnut, roasted
½ dried cranberries

Pork: mix all ingredients (except pork) together in a bowl. Place the pork chops into the marinade. Set aside for 1-2 hours at room temperature or in refrigerator overnight.
Pre heat the grill on high
Grill the pork on one side for 3-4 minutes. Turn over and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until they are browned, no longer pink inside. Set aside to rest for few minutes

Apples, Peaches sauce: melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir in sugar and cinnamon, 1 T. water and a drop of lemon juice. Cook until sugar caramelize, add apples, peaches and cranberries, walnut and the remaining lemon juice. Stirring for 2 minutes; adding the brandy and a pinch of salt. Simmer briefly to burn off the alcohol and thicken the caramel. Set aside
Place pork chops in plate and topped of with apples, peaches sauce
