St. Vincent de Paul's central kitchen prepares 3,500 meals a day. The meals are served in their five dining rooms in the Valley.
Many people think they only serve homeless guests. However, they actually serve hundreds of working-poor families every day in their family dining room and emergency food boxes.
In addition to providing nourishing meals, the family dining room also hosts tutoring programs, arts and craft activities to enrich the lives of low-income children.
You can help by volunteering or donating. Sometimes people are overwhelmed by the great need in the community. However, to a family, the help you give them can mean the world. Just a single food box or an hour of your day can help them see that their community cares about them and that life is filled with hope and potential.
