Talking Stick Resort , an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, is proud to welcome chart-toppers, Huey Lewis and the News to its Salt River Grand Ballroom on March 10. With an impressive 19 Top 10 singles and the signature track in the classic movie, Back to the Future, fans will be certain to rock out to the soulful harmonies of the group. They will sing along to such favorites as the Grammy nominated, “Heart of Rock & Roll” and the Academy Award nominated, “Power of Love”.

Huey Lewis and the News released their first single in 1979, and in 1980, they issued their very first, self titled album. In 1982, their second album, Picture This went gold and remained on the Billboard 200 album chart for an astonishing 35 weeks. The group has been nominated for numerous awards and won two Grammys in 1986. Over the course of their career, the band has sold more than 30 million records worldwide, and continues to make music today. Their recently released album, Soulsville, is their first album in nine years.
