Give Mom What She Really Wants
This year, skip the flowers that wilt and the fattening candy. Give Mom what she really wants - to look great. All too often mothers spend their lives taking care of everyone, except themselves. This Mother's Day, give your mom the gift of looking younger and feeling more confident. Give her a ' Mothers Day gift certificate from Body Beautiful Spa for Dysport and Restylane. Used together, your mom can look up to 10 years younger in about an hour. She'll cherish the extra meaningful gift long after the flowers have died.

Dysport - The Botox Alternative
In 2002, the Food and Drug Administration approved Botox for treating facial wrinkles. Seven years later a competitor emerged - Dysport . Dysport, developed by Medecis, was approved for treating facial wrinkles in 2009. Today Allergan's Botox still carries about 85% of the market share. As people learn that Dysport may have a slight performance advantage over Botox, there is a growing demand for Dysport.

How Dysport Works
Like Botox, the active ingredient in Dysport is a botulinum neurotoxin type A complex. The neurotoxin temporarily calms the muscle spasms that cause the deep brow furrows, frown lines between the eyes, and crow's feet on the sides of the eyes. Results last somewhere between three and five months, depending on your metabolism and other factors.

Dysport or Botox? Which is Better?
In 2011, San Francisco's Maas Clinic partnered with the University of California to perform a "split face" Botox versus Dysport study. In the study, doctors randomly injected Dysport in one side of the face and Botox into the other. The study found that about 66 percent of the participants thought Dysport was better at diminishing the appearance of crow's feet than Botox.

Dysport also works slightly faster than Botox, and often starts to kick in about two days after treatment. Botox can take up to seven days. Some say Dysport also lasts longer, however there are no supporting studies to date.

Dysport is made with fewer proteins than Botox. This means there is a lower likelihood of an immune response that prematurely breaks down the neurotoxin and its wrinkle-smoothing effect. This makes Dysport a good choice for people who find that Botox no longer works for them.

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid is already present in your skin, so there is no risk of an allergic reaction. Dermal fillers are used to restore youthful facial fullness and to plump lips. The results are virtually instantaneous, and they last for up to one full year.

Almost everyone has heard of Juvederm, but most people don't know that Restylane was actually the very first FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler. Restylane is also currently the only FDA-approved filler for lip enhancement. Restylane is available at ata a great price at Body Beautiful Spa.
