Family STAR Night

Challenger Space Center is hosting an entertaining and interactive astronomy night that is fun for the whole family.  Enjoy fun hands-on activities, a simulated space launch, and our new "Scout Corner."  All ages. The doors open at 6:30pm and presentation starts at 7:30pm. $7.00 per person; children 3 and under free.

New Year's Jazz Masquerade
January 5
Scottsdale / The MIM
This is a family-friendly day full of the vibrant sights and sounds of American jazz and Caribbean masquerade traditions. Create festive masks, participate in a jazzy story time and dance into 2013 by joiningg a performance with the ASU Dixie Devils.  All ages. 10am-4pm. General Admission rates apply.

Roots and Shoots
January 5
Phoenix/ The Phoenix Zoo
Participants will learn about a specific environmental issue focused on improving the lives of people, animals and the environment. This is a grassroots conservation for kids by kids! Ages 10-14.  1-3pm. Call or visit online for pricing and registration.
