Pediatric scoliosis is a condition that causes the spine to curve or twist into a "C" or "S" shape. It affects two to three percent of school-aged children, affecting boys and girls equally. Join Michael Chang, MD, a pediatric spine surgeon with Sonoran Spine Center to learn more about what scoliosis is, how it can affect children, diagnosis, and available treatment options.
