D-backs 5th of July game to salute military service members

The Arizona Diamondbacks will host a Fifth of July celebration with a patriotic fireworks spectacular after their game against the Colorado Rockies this Friday at 6:40 p.m. at Chase Field. The celebrations will also include a D-backs Stars and Stripes T-shirt giveaway, presented by Ram Trucks, to the first 15,000 fans. In addition, the D-backs will pay tribute to every branch of the military in a special pregame ceremony and throughout the entire game. All military, with a valid military ID, can receive 50% off of ticket prices for the entire weekend series, July 5-7.

The D-backs will also host their annual Native American Recognition Day on July 13 with several Native American dancers and musicians to be featured pregame on the field and throughout the stadium. Miss Gila River will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and the D-backs will recognize the top winners of the D-backs 15h Annual Inter-Tribal Baseball and Softball Tournament, the largest in the nation.

Fans will also have the choice between a Subway sandwich or hot dog as part of the D-backs Value Pack that includes a game ticket, soda and coupon for a free SUBWAY cookie.
