It's a sobering stat, but today, 30-50% of marriages end in divorce. So how can you defy the odds and keep your relationship healthy? Recent statistics show that if you workout with your significant other, your marriage is more likely to succeed. How is that possible?

Bobbe Ariano, owner of Orangetheory Fitness Arcadia, says that she sees more and more couples coming into her studio and working out together.

"Setting aside time to workout with your significant other is a great time to unwind together and stay fit," said Ariano.

A recent study done by Indiana University found that 34% of couples who worked out together were more likely to show up for a workout and stick to their fitness routine.

Ariano says that workout out together as a couple is especially great for those couples who are parents. "It sets a great example for kids, that mom and dad make fitness and healthy living a priority."

By design, the Orangetheory workout uses heart-rate-monitored interval training and short bursts of exercise to maximize the Orange Effect - which adds extra caloric burn for up to 36 hours after the workout. Participants burn an average of 900 calories per 60-minute class.
