Cooperstown cooks a healthy version of football food

It's finally football season! With all the excitement surrounding the season, Alice Cooperstown packs their restaurant full of football fans with a great energy with a local vibe.

Alice Cooperstown, located in downtown Phoenix, has a great brunch menu and drink specials. The restaurant boasts 6 jumbo screens and 10 other TV's to enjoy gameday!

Jeff Meyers, GM of Alice Cooperstown, visited the Sonoran Living set to teach us how to make some healthier game day items, including the Tedy Bruschi breast. Enjoy!

"Tedy Bruschi" Breast
(Feeds 6)

6 - Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless)
Salt - to taste
Pepper - to taste
2 C. Buffalo Sauce (we use Frank's Red Hot Sauce)
1 can Diced Green Chile's
Sour Cream
Shredded Cabbage
Flour tortillas - soft taco size

Season chicken breast with salt and pepper and grill with smooth side (skin side) to start, the grill will release the chicken when its ready to turn. Slice grilled chicken breast into strips about 1/2 inch wide. In a skillet over medium heat add the buffalo sauce, green chiles and sliced chicken, simmer until chicken is well coated in the sauce. Warm the tortillas in the microwave. Serve in a boat or shallow bowl with shredded cabbage, sour cream and tortilla's on the side. Spoon the chicken mixture in the tortilla with cabbage and sour cream and enjoy.
