This week, Valley mom and homemaker Annie Nava shares her recipe for homemade crayons.

Homemade Crayons

Materials:
Broken crayons
Muffin tin

Oven
Step 1: Remove paper from crayons, and break them up into smaller pieces
Step 2: Preheat oven to 250 degrees while you fill muffin tin with crayon pieces
Step 3: Bake in oven until wax has melted for about 10 minutes. Your house may start to smell like wax!
Step 4: Let wax cool before removing them from tin. Placing them in the freezer will let the cooling process go faster.
When crayons are hardened they will pop right out of the tin!
