Your children may be getting restless during the summer months, but we have some ideas to get them outside (at least when it's not too hot!).
Sari Powazek, owner of The Doll House & Toy Store, says playing outside is a great way to increase your child's appetite, build stamina, and sunshine is a great source of Vitamin D necessary to help build strong bones (remember sunscreen).
Playing with the other children in the neighborhood helps your children to socialize with others, take turns, share, create new ways to play ball, jump rope etc. And it may just be nice to keep the noise and mess out of the house every now and then.
