ABC15, Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln began the Operation Santa Claus tradition 11 years ago to provide much-needed support and donations to local Valley charities. The effort has grown in size, reach and partner participation each year, culminating in 2011 with over 50,000 donations.

"The problem of meeting the needs of the less fortunate has become even more challenging given the current economic situation," said Max Sirstins of Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln. "More families than ever before are seeking assistance and support from human service organizations struggling to meet the demand. We want to make a big difference and help as many people as possible through Operation Santa Claus."

"ABC15 considers it an honor and privilege to serve our community," said Anita Helt, vice-president and general manager at ABC15.  "We are proud to be a partner with Operation Santa Claus, providing a meaningful way for the people of Arizona to deliver food, clothing and toys to families in need during the holiday season. The people of Arizona are caring folks and the success of Operation Santa Claus every year is a testament to their compassion."
