Since 1997, Mission of Mercy has been committed to restoring dignity and "healing through Love" by providing free primary health care and prescription medications.  We bring the doctor to the people by embedding mobile health clinics in the communities of greatest need throughout Maricopa County.  We provide a "real time" continuum of care that is volunteer-delivered to the uninsured, underinsured, working poor and those who have fallen through the cracks of our health care system.  Our model is sustainable, community-driven and outcome-focused.  Clinics are hosted in donated clinic sites in trusted and well-known locations, such as church halls, community centers and school resource buildings - rent and utilities free.  With a small, paid medical staff of six and a large network of nearly 300 volunteer doctors, nurses, medical specialists, interpreters, registrars, mobile unit drivers, and many others, we are able to run six clinics, low-cost, five days a week.  89 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to providing more than 15,000 free patient visits and nearly 20,000 prescriptions annually.  For twenty years, we have provided over 200,000 free doctor's visits and dispensed over 300,000 prescription medication at no cost to thousands of Arizonans in need - no questions asked.  We provide care without barriers and access to quality, free health care.  We are privately funded by donations - we do not have government contracts, we do not have a pre-qualification process, we do not turn anyone away.
