Show Me the Money

Mesa / Arizona Museum for Youth
This is the opening weekend for the new exhibit "Show Me the Money." It showcases the colorful art of coins and currency and shows how cash has influenced the artwork of artists from around the World. $7 for ages 1 and up. Free for members. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.

Fall Festival
September 28 to September 30
Mesa / Vertuccio Farms
Opening weekend for the Fall Festival and Corn Maze! Get lost in our 10 acre Corn Maze, tour our farm on the Barrel Train, jump on our Extreme Air Pillow, race your friends on our pedal race car track, or walk through our pizza farm and learn how pizza is grown. Friday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. $8 per person, under 3 is free with paid adult.

Dragonfly and Butterfly Bash
September 29
Chandler/ Veterans Oasis Park
Dragonflies, damselflies and Monarch butterflies rule the wetland habitats at Veterans Oasis Park. Enjoy a guided nature walk, hands on crafts and presentations. All ages. 9 a.m. to noon. Free.
