Pet of the week: Solomon the Beagle needs forever home

After ten years of companionship, his lifelong friend had to pack up and move out of state so Solomon, a purebred Beagle, was dropped off at the Arizona Humane Society.

Solomon is wise, well-trained but still young at heart and this happy-go-lucky guy trots along beside you with a big doggy smile as the two of you walk to the park each evening.

Being a hound with a sensitive nose, Sol likes to take the time to smell every bush, flower and tree and he’s all tail wags if he happens to cross paths with a dog lover along the way.

After his stroll and some kibble for dinner, Sol will tuck himself into bed and does three circles on his dog bed before lying down and dozing off into a deep doggy slumber. He is great with other pets and kids of all ages.

Bring the whole family to the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix to meet Solomon. His adoption fee is $110 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x1045 and to see all the pets in need of a new home visit
