Lucky’s name suits his story to a tee. He was brought in to the Arizona Humane Society by the Emergency Animal Medical Technicians, who received a call of a possible hoarding situation.

When they arrived on the scene, the conditions were terrible and the owner had unfortunately passed away.

Lucky and the other animals in the house were very nervous at first, but once Lucky realized the EAMT’s were there with food and water to help them out of the situation, he immediately came to their side.

Since being at AHS, the behavior team has been working to build Lucky’s confidence back up and break him out of his nervous shell.

He is still timid at first, but really just wants someone to share his love with. Once he gets to know you, he will rest his head on your arm and wait excitedly to be petted. He may need a little work at first to get used to his forever home, but with all the love he has to offer it is sure to be worth it in the end.

Due to his reserved nature, Lucky will need to meet any other dogs or kids he may be living with, just to make sure it’s the best fit! Bring down the whole family to meet this adorable Labrador Retriever and help him find his happy ending.

Lucky is located at Sunnyslope. His adoption fee is $110 and covers his neuter surgery as well as his vaccines. For more information, call 602-997-7585 or visit azhumane.org.
